Consignment Hours

Consignment Hours: Tuesday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am or the first 30 people
Sign-up list is posted on the back door at 8:30 a.m.
You must be present to pay your $3.00 fee to hold your spot on the list.
Riddle Thrift Shop retains 45% of the selling price. You receive 55%.

General Rules

Checks will be mailed one week after your pick-up date.
Each week we publish a NOT-TAKING LIST of overstocked items. Please call on Mondays after 12:30 pm for a taped message containing the list, or view the list here on our web site: Not Taking List.

We consign Men's and Ladies' Clothing items. We no longer accept Children's clothing items. All clothing must be clean and pressed, in style, in season and in good condition. Consult the Shop Calendar for the dates that we start accepting seasonal items.

All household items must be clean. Glasses and dishes should have a minimum of 4 in the set.

Consignor should limit their items to 25 making note to follow the set limits per sheet listed below.

Your Consignor has the right to reject or refuse any item she / he feels does not meet our standards.

Unsold Consignment Items

You have the right to reclaim any of your unsold items in accordance with the pick-up procedure printed on the consignment contract. Any article picked up may not be reconsigned for at least 2 weeks. Reconsigned items must be reduced by 20%. We reserve the right to pull from the selling floor any reconsigned item that does not meet the above criteria. Large furniture may be reconsigned immediately; however it is subject to the 20% reduction policy. Furniture reconsignment must take place during regular consignment hours. The Riddle Thrift Shop is not responsible for damaged or lost articles consigned or left in the shop. Unsold items not reclaimed by 3:00 p.m. on the pick-up date become the property of the shop.
